Christmas at the Atlanta Dream Center:

Christmas Store Atlanta Dream Center Church

Our $5 Christmas Store Returns December 20

If you’re looking for a meaningful Christmas event in Atlanta that helps real families in a practical way, the Atlanta Dream Center is opening our doors for our annual Christmas Store on December 20 at 10:00 AM.

This is more than a giveaway. It’s a dignified shopping experience designed to lift up parents, bless children, and share the love and message of Jesus—because Christmas is about Christ, and we want every family who comes through our doors to leave encouraged and provided for.

What is the Atlanta Dream Center Christmas Store?

The Atlanta Dream Center Christmas Store is a pop-up store where parents can shop for their children’s gifts at an incredible price: $5 per gift.

Inside the store, parents will find tables and shelves stocked with toys and gifts that normally retail in the $25–$200+range, including exciting items kids actually want—everything from great toddler toys to gifts for teenagers.

Our heart is simple: to help parents who are struggling financially this year still provide a joyful Christmas for their kids. When parents can purchase the gifts themselves, they get to be the heroes at home—while we get the opportunity to serve them with excellence and share the message of Christ.

How the Christmas Store Works

We want the day to run smoothly and fairly for every family. Here’s the simple process:

  1. Eligibility & entry: Parents provide proof of their children (examples include a birth certificate, school grades, etc.). Then they receive a gift slip, which serves as their ticket for how many gifts they can purchase.
  2. A short Christmas message: Parents are welcomed in and hear a brief 5-minute message about the love of Christ from Pastor Tommy.
  3. Shopping experience: Parents enter the store and select gifts from our stocked tables and shelves—each priced at $5.
  4. Optional gift wrapping: After shopping, families can stop at an optional wrapping area where a team can professionally wrap gifts before they head home.

This approach gives dignity, creates a peaceful experience, and keeps the focus on what matters: loving families well and honoring Christ during Christmas.

Why the Atlanta Dream Center Does a Christmas Store

We understand a fair question: “Why should someone donate to a church?”

The Atlanta Dream Center is a church—but we’re also an active, hands-on community ministry that serves Atlanta all year long through outreach, compassion work, and practical support. The Christmas Store is one of the most direct ways we can help families during the holidays while offering hope that goes beyond a gift.

At Christmas, many parents feel the pressure of rising costs. The Atlanta Dream Center Christmas Store is our way of saying: you’re not alone, you’re not forgotten, and you can still give your children a special Christmas.

How You Can Help Make This Christmas Possible

To stock the store, we raise and purchase about $25,000 worth of toys and gifts for children ages 2–14.

Here are the best ways to help:

1) Donate financially

Your giving helps us purchase gifts and stock the store.

2) Buy gifts and deliver them

The Atlanta Dream Center provides a gift guide so people can shop and bring items to help fill the store.

3) Share with your friends

Sharing spreads the word and increases the impact of this Christmas outreach.

Want to Volunteer?

We would love your help on the day of the event. Volunteers make it possible to welcome families, organize the store, assist parents, and wrap gifts with excellence.

To volunteer, the page directs people to email: info@atlantadreamcenter.com to request more information.
