Slide Our Goal We aimed too low. We thought we were being audacious to have our goal at 150 public commitments to follow Christ (or what we call salvations) in 2022. The years prior we had sometimes single digit commitments made. This year, we blew our goal out of the water. Our Technique We decided that if we want to see more people make that commitment, we need to give more opportunities for people to make a commitment to Christ. This year we gave an invitation in every event, service, and ministry.
Funny enough, the more opportunities we gave to people, the more people, with tears in their eyes, accepted.

Slide What we did in 2022 175 Salvations We count a public confession that Jesus is Lord, that we are sinners, asking for forgiveness and making a commitment to follow after Christ as a salvation. What's next? We are still praying and decided what our goal will be for 2023

Slide Our Goal In January of 2022, we wrote down "It would be wild if we could get 100 people out of homelessness and addiction in 2022" We didn't think it was going to be possible. But we prayed and started working towards our goal. Every day we were seeing one or more people come off the streets, encounter Jesus, and start their journey into their God dream.

Slide Our Accomplishment As of current, we have two transitional homes, four outreach staff and a record number of 600+ people off the street, out of addiction and walking towards their God dreams. Some of the people were able to attend our church, receive salvation and get baptized while others never met us facet to face as we helped them move into recovery.

Slide How We Did It We used our Thursday Night ministries, our transitional home, our many partners and a special organization titled the 'Luv Hub". It is ran by a church member Mirabehn (check out our YouTube channel and watch vlog 7 for more information). Our goal here at the Atlanta Dream Center Church is to see people transformed by Jesus, get help out of their addiction/homelessness and see them back in the ministry. We are glad to report we have seen this over and over.

Slide The Ministries Transitional Housing We opened up two apartments to transition men and women out of homelessness, into a church community and into the needed help to get out of addiction and homelessness. Our transitional home has been the driving force to see more men and women encounter Jesus, grow in their faith and walk out their God dreams. Groups Our church has always been a place of outreach, but this year we focused on how we can see our church grow together. Men and women from different walks of life are now meeting on a weekly basis to fellowship in different groups led by church members. This new ministry has sparked a growth in our chuch as a whole this year.

Slide Spanish Service We took a leap and started what we call a Spanish Service. It is a bilingual service that was started with the desire to spread the gospel to those who speak spanish and are from latino countries. We believe that the Gospel is for every nation and tongue. Young Adults Our desire is to reach the young people in the city of Atlanta. Led by two on fire for God volunteers, the young adults ministry is becoming a vital part of the Atlanta Dream Center Church.

Slide Prayer And Fasting It is a strange thing to call a ministry. But this year we made a commitment to use the last Friday of every month to fast and pray for our church all day and into the midnight hour. It is by far the most important ministry we have had since it has been the power behind all our other ministries.
