Christmas Hope in Atlanta: How the Atlanta Dream Center Is Helping Families This December

atlanta Dream Center Christmas Store December 20

Christmas is meant to be a season of joy, generosity, and hope—but for many families in Atlanta, the holidays can also bring stress and uncertainty. That’s why the Atlanta Dream Center is once again opening its doors this Christmas season to serve families through our annual Christmas Store, happening December 20 at 10:00 AM.

This Christmas outreach is designed to meet real needs in a practical way while keeping the heart of the season centered on Christ.

A Different Kind of Christmas Store

The Atlanta Dream Center Christmas Store is not a handout line or a giveaway table. Instead, it’s a dignified shopping experience where parents can personally select Christmas gifts for their children—each gift priced at just $5.

The store is stocked with toys and gifts that typically retail between $25 and $110, making it possible for parents to give their children a meaningful Christmas even during a financially difficult year.

At the Atlanta Dream Center, we believe Christmas is about more than gifts—it’s about restoring hope, honoring families, and sharing the love of Jesus in tangible ways.

  • Shop the Christmas Store and choose gifts for their children
  • Optionally have gifts wrapped before leaving

This process allows parents to shop with dignity while creating a peaceful and organized Christmas experience for everyone involved.

Why the Atlanta Dream Center Cares About Christmas

The Atlanta Dream Center exists to serve the city year-round through outreach, compassion ministry, and the local church. Christmas is a unique opportunity to meet families at a moment when financial pressure is often at its highest.

By hosting the Christmas Store, the Atlanta Dream Center helps parents feel empowered, children feel celebrated, and families feel seen—all while pointing people back to the true meaning of Christmas.
