IRAN4CHRIST

Helping Churches Build a Mission for Iran

Iran 4 Christ comes alongside local churches to help Persian-speaking believers grow in Christ, be discipled well, and become equipped to serve their own people with the Gospel.

Our Mission

We serve churches that have Persian-speaking believers.

Many churches already have Iranian or Persian-speaking people in their communities, but often feel unsure about how to disciple them well, understand their background, or help them grow spiritually.

We simply want to help churches walk faithfully with Persian-speaking believers — helping them grow in Scripture, become spiritually rooted, and step into the calling God has for them.

“And what you have heard from me… entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.”
2 Timothy 2:2

Church Partnership

Helping churches build a mission for Iran through the Persian-speaking believers God has already placed among them.

Church Partnership

We are already walking with churches in this work.

Our prayer is that churches would become places where Persian-speaking believers are truly known, discipled, strengthened, and eventually equipped to serve others with wisdom and love.

Our desire is that churches would become places where Iranian believers are strengthened, discipled, and lovingly prepared to serve others wherever God opens a door.

Ministry Among Iranians

Our heart is for Iranians everywhere.

Alongside our work with churches in the United States, we remain connected to ongoing ministry among Iranians. This includes helping provide access to Christian resources, supporting discipleship relationships, encouraging emerging leaders, and strengthening small gatherings of believers. Many Iranians are spiritually searching and quietly asking deep questions about truth, hope, identity, and God. We believe the Gospel speaks deeply to these questions, and we are grateful for every opportunity to walk with people toward Christ.

Our prayer is to see healthy, biblical, Christ-centered communities formed among Iranians—communities that worship Jesus, grow in the Word, and carry the Gospel to others.

Resources & Training

We equip believers with biblical tools for ministry.

Many Persian believers are eager to serve, but they need biblical grounding, mentoring, and practical ministry formation. We help provide teaching, training, and resources that strengthen them for faithful service.

Our desire is not simply to teach information, but to help people genuinely follow Jesus, grow in spiritual maturity, and learn how to faithfully care for others.

Stories of God’s grace among Iranians

Every story reminds us that Jesus is still calling, healing, saving, and sending people for His Kingdom.

These are only a few of the many ways we continue to see God quietly drawing Iranians to Himself through ordinary conversations, relationships, and faithful believers.

“One whispered song. Two lives changed.”

What began as a quiet worship song in an eyeglass shop became an unexpected door for the Gospel.

An Unexpected Conversation

One of the believers from our church had gone to an optical store in the city to look for glasses. Earlier that morning, he had been listening to worship music, and later, without even realizing it, he quietly found himself repeating part of the song under his breath while looking at the glasses: “Jesus, King of Kings… Jesus, Lord of Lords.”

A few moments later, the owner of the shop suddenly called out and asked, “Excuse me… are you a Christian?”

The question genuinely surprised him. “Yes,” he answered, “but how did you know?”

The shop owner replied, “For the last few minutes, you’ve been quietly repeating those words about Jesus while looking at the glasses. I thought maybe you were Christian.”

What neither of them realized at that moment was that God was already using even that small and unintentional act of worship to open a door for the Gospel.

That simple moment led into a much deeper conversation. For nearly two hours, they spoke together inside the shop about God, faith, forgiveness, and the message of Jesus.

Later that evening, the shop owner invited our brother and his fiancée to dinner. As the conversation continued, they each shared openly about the things they had been carrying in their hearts.

For the young woman, the message that touched her most deeply was that God loved her enough to come near to her — and that through Christ, mercy could stand in the place of the judgment she feared.

For the young man, it was the realization that God was not as distant as he had always imagined, and that through Jesus, he could truly come near to Him.

Later that night, while sitting together in Hamed’s car, the conversation continued. Before the night ended, both of them prayed and surrendered their hearts to Christ.

Today, they are part of a small gathering of believers serving quietly inside Iran.

What began as a quiet worship song became an unexpected doorway for the Gospel — a reminder that God is often preparing hearts long before we realize He is at work.

“No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him.” — John 6:44 (ESV)

“For the first time, I understood that I was God’s daughter.”

Zahra had spent years searching for peace, healing, and identity. When she heard about the love of Christ, something finally reached the wound she had carried for so long.

From Searching to Belonging

Zahra grew up without a father, and that wound followed her for many years. She often felt overlooked by people around her, as if her voice, her story, and even her presence did not matter very much.

Like many people who carry deep pain, Zahra kept searching for healing and peace. Over time, she became involved in spiritual practices such as yoga and reiki. She was not casual about it; she truly believed this path could bring light, freedom, and healing, and she encouraged others to follow it too.

But even with all her searching, there was still a place in her heart that remained restless.

When Zahra heard the message of Jesus, what touched her most was not only the idea of forgiveness, but the love of a Father who saw her, wanted her, and called her His daughter.

She later shared that, for the first time, she felt a kind of worth and safety she had never known before. She was no longer trying to prove her value or search for her identity somewhere else. In Christ, she had been received by God.

Today, Zahra serves women inside Iran with courage and compassion. The woman who once pointed others toward a spiritual path apart from Christ now invites women to know the living God and the freedom she has found in Him.

Zahra’s story reminds us that the love of God reaches even the deepest places of rejection, giving wounded hearts a new identity and a place to belong.

“See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are.” — 1 John 3:1 (ESV)

“Come with me. We need to go speak with the building manager.”

Moments after praying to receive Christ, Hoseyn went to confess the truth, apologize, and share how Jesus had already begun changing his heart.

A Story of Immediate Transformation

Hoseyn had come to the apartment building for a routine elevator repair. While he was there, he met one of the believers from our church, and during their conversation, the subject gradually turned toward God and Jesus Christ.

What began as a normal conversation slowly became more personal. Hoseyn listened carefully as they talked about forgiveness, faith, and having a real relationship with God. The more he listened, the more interested he became.

At one point, with genuine sincerity, he asked, “What do I need to do if I want to have Jesus in my life too?”

After they prayed together, something changed in him almost immediately. Hoseyn suddenly took the believer by the hand and said, “Come with me. We need to go speak with the building manager.”

Standing there in front of both of them, Hoseyn admitted that he had not been honest during part of the repair process. He apologized sincerely and said, “Today I will even do the work for free, because Jesus has saved me.”

Later, Hoseyn shared: “For the first time, I felt like I had entered into a real relationship with God — not just religion, but something living and personal.”

Hoseyn’s story reminds us that when Jesus truly reaches a person’s heart, repentance becomes more than words — it becomes a new way of living.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17 (ESV)
