In this sermon, we dive into the real power of your words—not as feel-good phrases or Christianese, but as evidence of a heart either submitted to God or ruled by self. Walking through Proverbs 18:21, Jesus’ teaching on the mouth and the heart, and the stories of the disciples, demons, and the Roman centurion, we unpack why some words carry heaven’s authority and others fall flat. This message calls us out of surface-level “nice” Christianity and into deep surrender, fasting, prayer, and true submission to Jesus—so that when we speak, it’s not empty talk, but life, freedom, and spiritual authority flowing from a heart fully under His lordship.
