In this sermon we get painfully honest about character—the kind God actually cares about. Not your public church persona, but who you are in secret: what you cling to, what you won’t let go of, what you practice when no one’s watching. Walking through Romans 5, Daniel, Cornelius, and real-life testimony, we unpack how perseverance, daily disciplines (Word, prayer, fasting, gathering), and surrender to Jesus reshape our inner life, break bitterness and hidden sin, and produce a hope-filled, unshakable character. It’s a call to trade excuses (“that’s just my personality”) for transformation and become the kind of disciple heaven recognizes.
