As we enter the new year, it’s important to reflect on all that God has done in our lives over the past year. Perhaps this has been a difficult year for you, filled with challenges and struggles. Or maybe it’s been a year of great blessings and joy. Regardless of the ups and downs we’ve experienced, we can always find reason to give thanks to God for all that He has done.

One way to remember and give thanks for God’s faithfulness is through the practice of gratitude.

In Colossians 3:15, the Bible says, “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, for as members of one body you are called to peace. And always be thankful.” By focusing on the good things God has done for us, we can cultivate an attitude of gratitude that brings peace and joy to our hearts.

Another way to remember God’s faithfulness is through the practice of reflection and journaling. As we look back on the past year, we can take time to write down the specific ways God has been present and active in our lives. This can help us to see the hand of God at work, even in the midst of difficult circumstances.

Finally, we can remember God’s faithfulness by sharing our stories with others. When we share the ways God has blessed and guided us, we can encourage and inspire others to trust in God’s goodness and faithfulness. As the Psalmist writes in Psalm 34:8, “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.”

As we move into the new year, let’s take time to remember all that God has done in our lives and give thanks for His faithfulness. By focusing on gratitude, reflection, and sharing our stories, we can build our faith and trust in God, knowing that He is always with us, working for our good and His glory.
