Santa Clause himself was there! He took pictures with each member of the attending families and shared about the true gift of Christmas- Jesus. After the family spent time with Santa, he sent them to the next dressed up person in the room, Jesus. Our costumed Jesus shared the gospel and the true reason of the season.
We used presents to show the love and power of Christ.
With that in mind, our goal was not to solely give out presents to children in Atlanta, but also, use these toys to show the love of Jesus.
Each family was offered prayer, shown the love of Christ and given an opportunity to follow after him!
Everyone who volunteered were excited to see each family and helped every kid get a gift. They even cooked lunch for everyone attending and helping.
But the best part was how each volunteer got to do ministry. If it was a smile at the door, translating English into Spanish for Santa, or praying for the mom's and families before they left.
Those who volunteered their time really did make the day special!

we gave out 63 Thanksgiving meals.
