Gathering Layout and Guidelines:
Hey everyone! This is a group designed to simply gather together and blow off the steam of the week with a little exercise! No matter where your physical activity levels reside, anyone can jump in and break a sweat. Below you’ll find the layout of each session!:
Warm-Up: 10 minutes
Round 1: 3 minutes (30 second rest)
Round 2: 3 minutes (30 second rest)
Round 3: 3 minutes (30 second rest)
Round 4: 3 minutes (30 second rest)
Round 5: 3 minutes (30 second rest)
Cool-Down: 10 minutes
That’s it!
Again this is a group where anyone of any fitness level can jump in and get some exercise. Our primary focus will be learning boxing fundamentals, technique and other fitness basics. If any of that sounds intimidating, don’t worry! There will be modifications made for folks who need them and there will absolutely be NO PHYSICAL HITTING OR SPARRING OF ANY KIND WITH ONE ANOTHER. That’s for everyone’s safety, protection and comfort.
***And lastly, if you decide to join us, there will be 2 liability waivers you must sign/complete either physically or digitally (go to the “Resources” tab of this group to find them or ask me at church for one) before you can participate. No exceptions. This is for everyone’s health and safety!***
